Blockout - Flinthal
A symmetrical level for a competitive hero-based shooter. This was a level I built to combine my industry knowledge of design for a different genre.
I wanted to build a competitive, symmetrical level that had a deep focus on readability, strong POIs, and a heavy focus on strong metric's driven level language. Making sure players played in a unique space but most importantly made gameplay the focus of the experience and the hero's have equal opportunities to shine.
