Level Design

A blockout where I used the music of "Made In Abyss" to design a large single-player level with custom mechanics made from scratch in UE4.

I created this level with a heavier focus on homing into my single-player, world-building passion for creating unique worlds based on simple premises. As an avid fan of the hit anime "Made In Abyss" as well as the score for the show, I wanted to build a large space that helped soak in the theme's that the IP carried throughout its 13 episode tenure. The composer for the show (Kevin Penkin) liked my work on social media and this level was playtested frequently to help tune it's puzzle, ease of traversal and overall mechanics.
